There, I wasn’t happy with the way the lessons were taught nor the environment in which they were taught. Shortly after joining the HMS music family, I realized that I had joined something that was special. Heidi professionalism and passion for her music shows in every aspect of her teaching. Her knowledge of music theory combined with real world techniques equates into a total musical experience. Her home studio provides the personal attention with no distraction that you don’t get from a traditional music school. Her lesson plans are tailored to each individual. I have learned so much in the short time that I’ve been with Heidi. My piano skills have increased tremendously while working with her. The very best goes out to Heidi. Continued the good work you are doing………………………..

(July 10, 2019, 9:08 pm)Heidi is great! My 8 yr old daughter has been getting lessons from her for almost two years now and we have no complaints. So much so, our son will be beginning lessons too! She is very patient, knowledgeable and flexible when our schedule doesn’t work. I would definitely recommend her to anyone interested in learning to play the piano. You will not regret it :)

(February 8, 2014, 10:19 pm)Heidi is a terrific piano teacher for my six-year-old. He enjoys the lessons and is challenged -- in a positive way -- but never frustrated by what he is learning. Because of this he loves playing, and I never have to force him to practice during the week.
In addition, Heidi is also understanding about the fact that neither my husband nor I know how to play the piano. She always takes a few moments at the end of each lesson to go over my son's material so I understand what he's doing and how to help him.
For piano lessons, you can't go wrong with Heidi and HMS Music for your child -- or yourself! -

(January 16, 2014, 6:49 pm)I have had the privilege of having Miss Heidi as a piano teacher for over 10 years. From a fourth grader who couldn't even read music, to closing out the annual piano recital my senior year, Miss Heidi has taught me how to be a confident and adequate piano player. She helped me to develop a true passion for piano playing and she encouraged me to take on more challenging music pieces in order to become a better player. Her lessons were engaging and productive. Miss Heidi quickly became a part of our family because she truly cares about her students and their families. I highly recommend Miss Heidi as a piano teacher because if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have developed a passion for music and piano playing. She's an extremely talented player and teacher!
