CSB Media Arts Center

I have a friend who attends and loves it and they've let us record in the studio as long as one person is attending. Pretty chill place with great teaching staff, very friendly also.

I would not be doing what I do now if I hadn't taken the opportunity to go to CSB in Cherry Hill. The instructors are all nice and care about every student before, during, and after they are taking classes.

Awesome experience! Very fast-paced but I never felt overwhelmed with work! I grew extremely close with my classmates & instructors... Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Cherry Hill taught me everything I need to know in the industry! There is no studying from books, it's all hands-on which is great for someone like me. My favorite part about CSB is the private time I had in the studio after class being able to work on my editing & voice skills. Immediately after phase 1 I began an internship with iHeartMedia doing Social Media, Production, Programming & Promotions. My instructors helped me get the internship which was my foot in the door. The thing that separated me from the other interns is that I already knew how to do things in the studio. While the other interns were learning about NexGen & how to edit in adobe, I was working on my own commercials with my voice that was airing on the radio. After interning for iHeartMedia for 8 months, I am officially working for them as a Promotions Assistant. CSB is a great step if you want to be in the radio industry- but remember, you have to work hard for your dreams :)

Learned a LOT more about real broadcast experience than I did when I went to college the first time. Not to knock my old school, but in terms of broadcast it was a lot of lecture classes and theories. At CSB we were in a radio studio by the end of the first class and by the end of the first month we were shooting videos, editing commercials, doing live DJ-ing in their studios, etc. I was impressed all my instructors were active guys who worked in the fields they were teaching .. a news reporter from WFAN, a Comcast producer, a DJ from WOGL, a QVC host and a DJ from WKTU in NYC were among my instructors.

The fact that graduates continue to have access to their advisor, job placement leads and free use of the studios after completion of studies is a big plus in my book. As a student, I was able to learn things from grads when were using studio time for freelance work, etc. Now as a graduate, I'm happy to mentor newcomers.

What an amazing establishment this is!! I attended here back in 2011! From day one they made me feel at home. I learned so much in a short period of time and am now working at 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia! CSB is definitely the place you need to be if you are even thinking about a career in broadcasting!
