I can recall that they specifically mentioned the camp counselor Sid by name and said he was exceptional in working with their children and made sure they had a great time! Definitely going to be recommending the YMCA to more of my friends!

(November 25, 2022, 11:56 am)Do you remember Olive Garden’s old slogan, “When You’re Here, You’re Family?” I believe the dining restaurant’s old mantra is perfectly applicable to the West Chester YMCA on Airport Road. As a result of the YMCA’s first-class leadership, led by Executive Director Laura Schofield Pierson, Wellness Director Claire Yarrison, Facility Director Nicholas Parise, and Director of Childcare and Montessori Victoria Gallagher (as well as an extensive list of other qualified and loving individuals), the facility has proven itself to be a welcoming and neighborly environment full of respectful, genuine, compassionate, and gracious individuals. In addition, the Airport Road location is dedicated to providing topnotch activity offerings for individuals and families of all ages and all walks of life. Not many health clubs can assert this claim, but the YMCA of Airport Road can do so without hesitation. Whether you enjoy spin class, pickleball, taking your family to an outdoor water-park, swimming (both indoor and outdoor), lifting weights, participating in HIIT Training (both indoor and outdoor), or want to try the locations brand-new highly regarded “EGYM,” the West Chester YMCA will be your perfect destination. In addition, the branch has made a pledge to its members that regardless of their physical capabilities, there is a class available that will cater to everyone’s needs. For example, the “Parkinson's Cycling” program is a huge hit, and has brought tremendous value and joy to the lives of so many. Since its inception over a decade ago, the West Chester YMCA has made certain its employees maintain the highest level of integrity, sincerity, and always do what is necessary to ensure each member has a safe and enjoyable experience—a promise the West Chester YMCA has kept (trust me, I know having been a member for its entirety).
