The Samaritan Center at Voorhees

I can't say enough good things about this facility. My family experienced a very sudden passing with my grandmother. While struggling with one of the hardest moments in our lives we were all at first very nervous about transferring her to a hospice facility and were unsure of what to expect. I can 100% confidently say that transferring care for my grandmother to this facility was one of the best choices my family made, and I would not have chosen any other way to spend the final few days with my grandmother. The staff kept my grandmother comfortable and truly gave her the highest level of care and attention. The facility is immaculately well kept and gives you the feel of being home. The staff exceeded any expectations that we had with accommodating my family, showing compassion and providing comfort to my family. The whole staff is exceptional. I could not have asked for any better care for my grandmother to receive in her final days. The staff cared for my grandmother as if she was family and allowed my entire family to be present in her final days, while making sure we had everything we could have possibly needed. I hope this review helps bring peace to anyone considering this facility, I know reading all the great reviews prior to my grandmother staying at this facility really helped me feel a level of comfort. The facility and staff are phenomenal and going through losing a loved one is never easy, but the entire staff provided peace and compassion to my family during this trying time. Thank you to the entire staff on behalf of my family and myself, you all truly made an incredible difference for us!

This place is beyond amazing! My Dad unfortunately was only there for less than 24 hours but the amount of love and genuine care he received was beyond our expectations. He wanted to leave earth comfortable and pain free and we made sure of that. Jefferson Hospital did a HORRIBLE job that is why we decided to move him into this facility to make his departure a very loving pain free smooth one and this place did more for my dad then Jefferson Hospital lacked to do. I am very please and definitely recommend this facility to everyone who wants real care. Love. Comfortability for their loved ones final moments. This place from the moment you arrive is very welcoming and peaceful. The staff were all amazing as well. They made sure we were also comfortable while saying our last "see you later" to our loved one. They were genuinely amazing!! Thank you Samaritan for an amazing job you are all doing!

P.S. this was our first time in this facility and we couldn't have picked a much better place. This facility is by far the BEST I've seen.

As a family, we cannot say enough about how great our experience was with this facility. During this difficult time, the moment we walked through the door we felt very welcomed and comfortable and right away we knew our father/husband was in the right place. They took such great care of him, from bathing him everyday as well as keeping him comfortable. The staff kept checking on us as a family as well and were willing to get us anything we needed. The facility itself is kept extremely clean. We thank all of the nurses and staff for everything you’ve done for us and for helping our family member have a very peaceful passing.

This facility was an absolute blessing to me and my family. My father spent his last days here. My father was able to voice his concerns and desires just prior to arriving here and the staff here fulfilled each and every one. I will be forever grateful for this facility and their staff. I honestly don't know how these people can be so good at their job, every single employee I met! The nurses here are a wealth of information and that is unbelievably important in a time like this. I arrived there straight from the hospital behind the medical transport, nervous, stressed out, having no idea what to expect and the staff put my mind at ease within minutes of walking in the door. Thank you to each and every one of you. Words cannot express the relief you all provided for myself and my family, and most of all, the comfort you made possible for my Dad in his last days!!
