We found this place last week and have already been there twice! The food is very good. We had the Bento boxes both times and those do not disappoint in flavor and portion. Service is great, host and staff are kind and attentive.

Tonight, I had the distinct pleasure of trying Shangri-La for the first time. My six year old son and I were craving some good Chinese food and saw that this restaurant was highly reviewed. While it wasn’t close (20+ min), boy was it worth the drive! When we arrived, we had to wait a little bit to be seated. You could tell they were very busy, but the gentleman at the counter was prompt and polite and sat us as soon as a table was available.
All of the employees, despite being busy, managed to show personal attention to every customer. It was a pleasure to watch!
Then the food came… all I can say is WOW! The food was absolutely exquisite! My son is a dumpling aficionado, and after one bite, he swore these were the best dumplings he had ever eaten. Both the meal and the experience were so enjoyable, I only wish we lived close enough to go again tomorrow night! To everyone who does live close by, this is it- this is the restaurant you’ve been looking for. Great people, great service, great food… it’s the total package!

Loved the cozy space and fantastic food. Dry Pot Chicken and Pork fried rice (w soy sauce) blew our minds. Vegetable dumplings were a cut above. Service was friendly and on point. Will return soon.

P.S. I actually enjoyed my fortune cookie’s fortune again! It’s been years!

Our traditional Christmas dinner was sidelined by covid, so my daughters and I decided on a festive Chinese Christmas dinner! I was warned by @shangrilachillnj they would be busy, and ordered my dinner two days in advance....and am glad I did. Even after waiting a few extra minutes their food was as tasty and flavorful as ever. They have the best hot pepper beef on the east coast!

We were attending a dance competition at the middle school nearby, and decide to go grab some lunch.
This is a very casual eat in style restaurant / cafe.
I had shrimp wonton soup, my wife the chicken and corn. Both ships were flavorful, fresh and hot.
My wife picked the create your own lunch with shrimp and mixed vegetables of her choosing.
I had the sesame chicken from the other side of the menu.
Both dishes were very flavorful, fresh and filling.
if you are in the area and seeking some decent Asian food, I highly recommend this restaurant, the staff is very friendly and helpful.
