(June 10, 2022, 6:49 pm)I have a pretty well-eqipped home gym in my basement which includes a heavy duty Olympic bench press that I inherited from my father who was a big power lifter. The bench is great, but the pad had seen better days. I came across Mike in a Google search for upholsters and left him a voicemail on a late Friday afternoon. He called me back promptly on Monday, I told him what I needed, and he said he could handle it, quoting me a price. He is very busy, so it took some time to get in, but I was in no rush so that was fine. Once I got my bench to him, he turned it around in just a few days and, wow, what a fantastic job he did. It is very much like a brand new bench. We have some patio furniture that needs new pads, and I may have a few more pieces of gym equipment that could use a new upholstery life, so we will be going back to Mike. The bench was just reupholstered today, so obviously I cannot yet speak to the longevity and quality in terms of holding up over time, but for now, all I can say is that I am grateful to have found Mike Schultz. (If I can figure it out, I will post before and after pics of my bench press.)
