Schmidt's Christmas Tree Farm

We went today, Fri Nov 26th. Wonderful dog and kid friendly tradition.
Call to hear up-to-date hours, tree varieties, and heights. This year the recording says the you-cut are mostly Douglas Fir trees of size 6-8 feet. Not many taller ones and not many Fraser firs for you-cut. For fresh-cut (pre-cut) they have many sizes and both Fraser and Douglas.
You enter, walk about a quarter mile to the back fields. Once in the fields, go to the middle far left to find the saws and sleds, next to the shaker and baler team. The hundred or so trees are mostly beautiful Douglas Firs, but there are two rows of Fraser Firs sized 5-7 ft, as of Fri Nov 26th. They have a truck that drives around and brings the tree back the entrance for you faster than you can walk back. You pay then pick it up. They have cord.

Amazing place with a ton of trees. Very popular, so get there early. They also have a great set up for you to pick up a tree sled and saw close to where you cut them down to limit how much you are walking With the equipment. This will be our annual place to get a tree from now on.

Had such a nice experience there. Everyone was friendly and helpful, I loved the little walk to get out to the trees, and it was much more affordable than I thought it would be. Can't wait to come back next year!

If your looking to make a holiday tradition, you found the right place. Always a fun time here. There are so many trees to pick from. You can grab an already cut tree or take a tractor ride out to the tree fields and cut one down yourself. Free hot coco and kettle corn for a dollar. Most do the time there is some wine samples from the local winery. My favorite part is this farm is properly staffed and run like clockwork. Depending on when you get here the lines are short but even if the line is long its not much of wait.
