I could not have asked for a better PT group. Dr. Thomas is very knowledgeable of injuries and how to treat them, is very kind, and gentle spirited. Justin and Jess, PT assistants are equally knowledgeable and can assign and carry out the therapeutic exercises. The entire group is compassionate and has a high integrity standard. I would highly recommend each and every staff member.

Philo Physical Therapy was recommended to me following rotator cuff repair surgery. This was my first experience injury/surgical/PT experience. To say I was nervous is an understatement after listening to everyone's surgical/PT tales. After a successful surgery, I was able to start PT 6 weeks later. At my initial evaluation, Thomas immediately alleviated my fears. I felt as if I was going to be in good hands. I cannot say enough great things about Thomas, Justin, Jess & Celeste. I call them "miracle workers" Although I still have some work to do, I have regained almost all of my range of motion and strength.....far beyond my expectations (after listening to other people's troubled tales of their experiences elsewhere). I comment all the time to friends and family how Thomas, Justin, Jess and Celeste are the kindest, most caring people I have met. If you are struggling with some pain or other issues, they listen. They truly care about their clients. I have been going 3 times a week for almost 4 months. Once cleared, I am going to miss seeing them. In addition to great physical therapists, they are great people. I would highly recommend Philo Physical Therapy to everyone!!

Dr Thomas and team are wonderful to work with. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and not experiencing pain when doing the exercises They are very patient and listen to what you are saying about you issue. They make physical therapy enjoyable!

Several months ago I developed a severe case of Sciatica. Although I had Sciatica problems in the past this one was debilitating. The pain prevented me from performing most all normal activities. My family doctor prescribed physical therapy. A friend recommended Philo. They were kind enough to begin therapy immediately. Treatments were intense at three times a week with the philosophy of treating the whole body. The sciatica pain has essentially been eliminated with the goal now to build strength and eliminate the cause of this chronic problem.
Thomas and the entire staff at Philo are excellent. They have created an environment of care and purpose to achieve a shared success. I am very grateful and would highly recommend Philo for any physical therapy needs.

I am from Los Angeles and was in town on a work trip. I had a pinched nerve in my neck for 5 weeks and was in a tremendous amount of pain. A trusted colleague who was also local and had great success, referred me to Thomas (owner) at Philo Physical Therapy. I had been seen 4 times by my primary care physician and was only met with steroids and pain meds that weren’t even effective. So, thinking there was really nothing to lose, I called and explained my symptoms. Thomas was able to see me the next morning. When I arrived Thomas did a full evaluation and carefully listened to my concerns and symptoms from the start to where I was currently. After my first session I definitely felt a difference! Since I was only in town for a short time Thomas advised that I see him as many times as possible to ensure my healing. He made time in his schedule and worked around my work schedule to see me a total of 3 times. I can honestly say that this is what “brought me back to life.”
Thomas sent me home with at home stretches and exercises to maintain and continue on my progress. It has been 2 months since I’ve seen Thomas and I’m feeling great! Can’t thank him enough for the relief he has given me. Thank you!
