MVA - Elkton

If you've had a bad experience taking your driving test, this is where you need to try next! I was terrified and nervous after my last instructor, and this couldn't have been more amazing in comparison. Everyone from the front desk to the testing room was polite and pleasant, and my driving instructor Tony really helped me through everything. I explained my poor experience and how I really need clear directions and to be able to ask questions without judgement, and he took it on like his personal mission to make sure I understood everything and felt as confident as possible. He allowed me to keep talking through my nerves the entire test and really felt like he wanted to see people succeed, while still being fair and professional. I left smiling and laughing and feeling like I had just had a great time, despite my legs still shaking from nervousness. I was congratulated and talked through all of my next steps, so I felt like I had everything I needed to move forward. Thank you all for being the opposite of what people think when they hear "MVA"!

Went to the MVA for a CDL test. I was initially very tense. However, Krystal my examiner was very calm as she explained the rules to me and asked me to give it my best shot. This went a long way to smooth my nerves and keep me focused throughout the duration of the test. I’d definitely give her an A1 for professionalism.

It was worth coming to Elkton branch although this place is almost an hour away from my place. Not one but everyone are so friendly and helpful. I went to other MVA office 2x, at first I was not advised during my telephone appointment that I need to take 3 hour safe and sober educational program. 2nd time they rejected my international license without even looking properly on their book as their guide if my license is fraud or not. Through prayers God really sent me to the right branch. Highly recommended go to Elkton for your driver’s license.

I scheduled an appointment online yesterday and was in and out under 30 minutes this morning. Jen was super helpful in helping me change my license over to Maryland!
So thankful for the friendly staff!

Five star service from the beginning to end. It started with a telephone inquiry. An appointment was set for me for the next day. Walked in the MVA on a Saturday morning. I was the third person in the initial line. Scott was the greeter, he provided information in response to my questions. I was given a number. Was seen in less than 15 minutes by Christiana. I had "multiple situations." She was able to resolve them all in a professional AND friendly manner. I was so impressed I might come to Elkton for all my MVA needs, even though I live in PG COUNTY!!
