This place is amazing.

Then called Longwood Funeral Home and Matt was so kind, understanding and warm. He went above and beyond to help me with the arrangements and educating me about ecobarials and options for my mom.

I could not reccommend this place enough. They treat you like a person and not a business transaction.

I cannot express how amazing Matthew, Kenny, Reverend Craig Bean, and the entire staff is.

From the second I contacted Matthew he was gracious, kind, so helpful, and truly made all of this seamless. He is honest, helped my mom get everything my dad wanted and her desires as well, he did not try to have her pay a penny more than she needed. He helped with everything, let my mom come visit my dad and have her private time with him, guided her every step of the way with life insurance, picking out the Urn, memorial service plans, and it went so easy for my mom, sister Allison, and myself. Matthew, you are forever so special to our family. My dad's service was perfect. The Memorial candle you gifted my mom is so beautiful and so special. Thank you!

Kenny is such an amazing person... he was there at 3 am in his suit (along with our other new friend... and I'm so sorry... my brain is forgetting your name) you both were so professional, kind, funny, laughed with us at our silly, crazy selves. This horrible nightmare was made so much easier because of all of you. You were there to greet all of us at my dad's service, and your faces and amazing, compassionate selves made us smile.

Kenny also came over and dropped all of my dad's flowers, pictures, urn, and so much more off. My mom (and myself) was so happy that Kenny was there, he really helped my mom so much... all of us. Thank you Kenny... you are such a special person ❤️

Your funeral home is so beautiful. The layout, the way you decorated and displayed my dad's pictures, memories, picture boards was beyond perfect. You had the playlist of music playing with the beautiful video of pictures. Then we walked into flowers and the most beautiful memorial candle. The memory cards turned out so beautifully, his memory book with everyone who came and their signatures. Such a beautiful book. The tissues, mints, hand sanitizer, bottles of water... you thought of everything to help us all get through that day. 🙏

Our baby boy sadly passed at less than a day old and Matthew personally sought that he was taken care of to the absolute best of his abilities from day 1 of contacting him and was extremely compassionate to us and our family during the worst time of our life. He truly made this process stress free. We feel we have found our family's funeral home and will be returning to plan our own services for when the time comes. Thank you so much!

Matthew Genereux is an independent funeral home director who treats his customers with respect and honesty. He is very cordial and friendly in conversation, not at all grim in demeanor.

When we were planning ahead for my father's funeral in 2016, Matthew was very helpful. He understood the particulars of the local cemetery as well as the logistics necessary to secure a military bugle and flag presentation. To his credit, he did not attempt to oversell us on unnecessary procedures or services in contrast to another funeral home we had consulted. Matthew fully respects and abides by the tenets of the Federal Trade Commission "Funeral Rule" which protects consumers.

The prices he charged were reasonable and fair. The burial service went very smoothly and he was well prepared. I would recommend his services based on my experience.
