(November 8, 2022, 7:39 am)Look forward to visiting the YMCA every morning for my lap swimming. Everyone is so friendly, the pool and locker room are very clean and I’ve made friends that I see socially outside of the YMCA. It’s a place I feel connected to my community.

(September 3, 2022, 8:17 am)My daughter had a great time at summer camp. She enjoyed making new friends and learning the core values of the YMCA. The counselors were all fantastic. I also love the before/after school programs they offer for the local public schools. These programs are really helpful to working parents and the kids have a blast!

(May 27, 2022, 3:09 pm)I was hesitant in the beginning to join the Y because I was out of shape and hadn't done much exercise except to walk my dogs. I felt like I'd be out of place. But this couldn't have been farther from the reality. I feel so comfortable there. Members of all ages are there to utilize the facilities and take advantage of the community. The staff of the Kennett Square YMCA is friendly, helpful, and encouraging. No matter where you are in your wellness/fitness journey, there are knowledgeable staff to help you to achieve your goals.
I especially appreciate the full range of exercise equipment and fitness classes, and the attention the staff pays to sanitizing the facility to keep us healthy.
