Hill Creek Farms

First time here and we loved it. Kids already want to go back and we definitely will. Want to go back without kids too and relax and do wine.

A good time apple picking on this brisk Sunday morning. Not too crowded so we had free reign picking apples for baking pies and cakes as well as eating. Also picked up some apple cider donuts which are absolutely delicious when still warm. Apples fresh off the tree aren’t bad either. Stop in before they close for the winter.

I really enjoyed my apple picking experience here. Do you have a wonderful variety of apples it’s very fairytale like, going from all of the different isles of apple trees. The staff were very very nice and even though we didn’t have a ticket for the hayride, they got us on with a promise that we will pay for the apples. We did, and we bought their wonderful peach wine while paying for them! I really liked the variety of wagons that they had for the hayrides, having one especially for children. The only downer was that they were out of pumpkins by the time I got there which is the whole reason why I even went, but it’s OK because the rest of your fun evening made up for it. I haven’t seen a lot of farms do parties like they did on the 17th October which is when we went. It’s definitely a wonderful place and I suggest that anyone interested in taking her on apples and a little bit of that country love, head on over there to check it out.

Visited here today with my girlfriend and her son. 1 hour and 40 minute drive from Staten Island; we arrived about 3:15 PM and sat outside and enjoyed a terrific lunch. Beautiful sunny day, so nice to enjoy the outdoors in a relaxing setting! I believe the owners are partnered with or own nearby Auburn Road Winery, they sell their wine here and the Blessington red fruity wine is amazing and is our favorite!!

Jessica our server was wonderful, Alexa and Kaley were also helpful. Shout out to My GF who met and had a nice conversation with the owner Adrienne in the Market. We didn’t visit the orchards today but we will be returning next month !!

Hill Creek Farms is an amazing orchard. On a bright sunny Summer day we picked delicious looking Gala Apples. They provide the plastic bag to put the apples in and the directions as to were the Gala Apples are at. My Grandson had such a good time selecting the apples he wanted to get. He usually eats an apple every morning. Now he will have apples that he picked. It is great that he could see were apples came from and they are not just from a shelf in a big super market. It was wonderful getting out in the country and seeing were our food comes from.
