I am a tennis and a golf player and I get a lot of sports related injuries. Instead of taking pain meds, I take a session or 2 with Dr. Shah after any incident I get treatment at root cause levels and I am as good as new. Thank you Dr. Shah for your excellent service and work ethics.

Dr Shah helped me perform specific exercises related to my left rotator cuff problems. extremely knowledgeable and a very patient therapist. She is an excellent yogi as well. A heavy weight lifted off my shoulders

I am 60 years plus and I have struggled with vertigo for several years - it comes and goes - randomly, and most often it passes in a few seconds. I had some balance problems and often struggled with walking to the bathroom at night. I thought it to be just age related and trying to live with it. Reluctantly, I had been to the ENT specialist doctor and they tried the “Epley” which helped for a while but then the problem always came back in a few days. This went on until one day, I fell on my morning walk.

This prompted me to search for help online and found Dr. Shah at Your Movement Specialist. Over the phone, Dr. Shah explained to me how positional vertigo can actually affect our balance so much and put us at such a risk for falling. Because of her I understood that falling is not a normal part of aging. I scheduled an appointment with her and found that she uses specialized equipment to correctly diagnose the site of the problem and properly treats it.

Within the first two sessions, I felt like a “heavy weight was lifted off my shoulders” and my balance and confidence improved so much. In just a few weeks, I felt 10 years younger. I wanted to wait a few months before writing this review since I was so sure that the problem would come back since it is age related. Dr. Shah has proved my notion wrong. I sit here 100% dizzy free for the past three months – and no more problems with my balance!

I have been diagnosed with balance and stiffness as a post meningitis septicemia lingering condition. I was feeling unsure and nervous and had several falls. I began to use a cane. I was nervous driving due toneck stiffness. Dr. Shah helped me with a routine of planned exercise and some massage to help me regain good balance and less stiffness. She taught me how the body is impacted and how to relearn good habits and patterns to regain my balance and minimize stiffness. I have improved greatly and can go most places now without a cane. My stiffness in my neck has decreased improving my range of motion giving me confidence for driving. She is particularly good at teaching you what is behind the therapy she suggests, leaving you in a strong position to continue your at home program. She is also most compassionate and kind. I recommend her highly!

I have been a patient of Dr. Nidhi Shah’s since April 2022. I find her to be brilliant and compassionate. I was diagnosed with early stage Parkinson’s disease (PD) in September of 2021 and in November 2021 underwent Achilles reconstruction foot surgery. With her help in guiding me through PD-targeted exercises and my hard work I have seen and continue to see improvements in my gait and balance, and also an improvement in the amount of time it takes me to perform tasks. These were all areas I needed help with. Each physical therapy session is different which I like and which I now understand is important from the standpoint of increasing the challenges she puts before me each time. Dr. Shah has had to be creative in adjusting what we do during some of our sessions such as when my foot has been bothering me or when I was experiencing severe anxiety. She has always made me feel comfortable. I find her extremely knowledgeable, flexible, and caring. I am seeing measurable improvements and look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Shah. I am so glad I found her.
