To all my friends, enemies, and animal lovers out there who are following the story about the dog that was hurt and whose picture is on the social media:
Let me start by saying that I appreciate your concern and love for animals. I am an animal lover, too. I have a dog and two cats for which I lovingly invested in to rescue them, provide a home for them, and love them.

What you see online is a gross misrepresentation of the latest encounter with the dogs.
Yes, unfortunately, and I am very sorry for this, the dog was hurt, however not by me, the way it is posted online.
If you are interested in the facts, and I hope you are, and not in the social media hype, I need to share the facts with you.

The neighbors have 2 pit bull dogs. We have been neighbors for almost 20 years, and we have had a fairly positive relationship, except for their dogs.
For a long time their dogs have been attacking me in my yard. There is no fence between us. Every time I am out in my yard and the neighbor’s dogs escape, they attack me viciously. For a while they had at home only the female dog and when she was attacking me I was able to chase her away by shouting at her and grabbing a stick or whatever I could find to protect myself to scare her away.

For a while now they brought a big male pit bull home and together they make an aggressive team. Three to four weeks ago I was cutting the grass with the tractor. Both dogs appeared onto my property and surrounded me on both sides of the tractor barking and attacking me while on the tractor.
I was yelling at them as loud as I could and I had to swing the tractor from side to side to chase the dogs. Finally the neighbor lady called the dogs and they ran away.

I went to the neighbors to complain about the dogs, however there never was a discussion held. A short while after this the dogs came another day and attacked our dog right in front of our house and I had to chase them again.

Yesterday I was doing yard work in front on my house trimming some things with the hedge trimmers. While I was operating the hedge trimmer the dogs came attacking again viciously.
I started yelling at the dogs “go home” but they were getting more aggressive by the second. The dogs were attacking me from two sides and as I was holding the machine in front of me for protection, though I did not know at that time, the male dog took a bite at the machine and badly hurt himself, as seen in the horrible picture.
I, myself, never touched the dog. I was just trying to scare them with the noise of the machine.
Right after the incident I went to the neighbor’s house to complain about the dogs and when she came to the door the lady neighbor did not tell me that the dog was hurt. She was on the phone when she came out, and she told me that she could not talk to me at that time.

The neighbors called the police, and the police crew together with a member from the animal protection agency visited with me inquiring about the dog. They shared with me that the dog was hurt. I explained what happened and they told me that they will write a report and also they told me that if I want to file a complaint, I can do so and take it to the court.

As far as the pitch fork is concerned, NO PITCH FORK WAS INVOLVED in this incident the way the malicious social media report is writing.

So these are the facts about this incident. I invite you to consider them carefully, with a cool mind.

It's amazing how people will believe a lie about anyone and cowardly slander a name without any facts to back up their claim.
It's sad how they will rate a facility they never even attended before based off a false claim and throw dirt on a man of God, and instead of realizing that he would never do such a cruel act, just blindly accept a rumor that is so purely a lie and so evidently a cheap, poor attempt to cover up their own lack of taking responsibility for their animals when they have been attacking him for months while he tried to talk it out with the neighbors with no follow through from them.
