Wagontown Laundry

Great place to do laundry.

There are 2 sides. Small side is 24 hours and has a couple really big (6 load) washers and 4 dryers. The larger side is open 6 am to 9 pm and has a bunch of double load washers, a bunch of triple load washers and 4 huge 6 load washers. Lots of dryers.

I used a double load washer and has no issues with what was a fairly large load but probably not 2 loads. Cost ot wash was $3.75. Once I moved to the dryer, I spent $1.25 which bought 30 minutes. I had set to low and when the 30 minutes were done everything was pretty dry. There were a couple sweatshirts that were slightly damp but otherwise all dry.

I was there at 5:45 pm on a Sunday. It was not super crowded but was busy. And, although not the very end of the day but near end of day. Trash was pretty full and there was things like powder detergent spills but it was also evident that this was really just from a busy day and that the facility is kept clean.

All the machines were in working order. The machines take quarters or debit/credit cards. If using debit/credit card, the signs advise that they will put a $20 hold which will then reduce to what was actually used but this may take up to a full business day.

There was a change machine that was also working.

It’s a nice clean laundromat, but the hours need to be updated, both on the Google listing and the signage. The hours for the main room in the laundromat are listed as 6am - 9pm. There is a separate section of the laundromat with only two large machines, which is open 24 hours. I arrived after 10 pm to the main room, and it was still unlocked. I have been in there late several times, so I assumed the whole establishment had changed to 24 hours. I stepped outside for a bit, and when I tried to get back in, the door was locked, apparently locking automatically at 11 pm? Very confusing, as 11 pm is not posted anywhere. Now I have a huge load of laundry stuck in there overnight.

As far as laundry mats go was great, fast washers and nice hot dryers
