We were recently in the market for new patio furniture. Despite having taken good care of the set we had purchased at a big box store, it started to break down after just 3 years. By year 5 we needed to replace the entire set. It is no secret that the better the quality of a product the longer it will last. When we did the math, it made more sense for us to purchase high quality furnishings. We figured that quality patio furniture, usually with a 10 year warranty, would look good for the next 10-20 years. And, we really didn't like the alternative of buying junk and having to replace it every 4-5 years; with the last 2 years looking very worn. We decided to look beyond the big box stores.

We were aware of Ultimate Patios and had stopped in there a few years ago. We decided that we would give them another try. Wow, we're glad we did. Ultimate Patios is under new management since the last time we were in there. The products they carry are still great but the new owner, Kevin Aylward, is fantastic.

After introductions, Kevin asked us about our style preferences. He didn't ask us what we were looking to spend. He didn't try to push us towards a particular manufacturer. He didn't pressure us at all. Quite the contrary. He patiently listened to us. Talked to us. He showed us what he had on the floor but made it clear that he works with the best manufacturers and that his only interest is to give his clients exactly what they want. He walked us through fabrics; carefully explaining the advantages of each. He asked about the setting for the furniture; whether there was a pool and if the patio was exposed to late afternoon sun. He asked all the right questions and never tried to influence our decision. We were perfectly comfortable as we made our way through the store...trying out cushions, feeling materials, exploring the details of the construction, etc. We weren't rushed or pressured.

We left the store without having made any decisions. Refreshingly, Kevin never made us feel like we were obligated to make a decision, as most sales people do. The only decision that we made while we were in the store was that if we were going to buy high quality patio furniture, we were going to buy it from Kevin. A few days later, after having explored the manufacturers online, we called Kevin. We told him exactly what we wanted. A few days later, Kevin personally delivered exactly what we had asked for. As he delivered each piece, he inspected them; making certain there were no marks, blemishes, or faulty construction. He explained how we should care for the furniture and went over the warranty. We couldn't be happier with the look and feel of the set we bought. It is a perfect fit for our oasis. And, we couldn't be happier with the store who sold it to us. Our shopping experience at Ultimate Patios was simply perfect.

New ownership of this place is great. Kevin the new owner is the best. From the minute I walked in I was greeted courteously and felt extremely comfortable. They have a wide selection of furniture to look at. All of which is high-quality and extremely well-made. I tend to have A LOT of questions and Kevin never got mad or upset. He answered every single one of my questions without hesitation. Some of the negative reviews you see about this place were from the previous owner. I cannot say enough positive with the new owner Kevin. I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in getting great quality furniture to last a lifetime.

We were in this week and the owner could not have been nicer. We knew we were looking to replace our Winston patio furniture with another Winston set. I do not want to make such a large purchase online, so I was hoping to see some pieces on display. They have several pieces and were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We had just started our search so we were not ready to buy that day but they spent a lot of time pricing out everything we wanted and we were very happy with the price. They were very gracious when we told them we were not ready to make a purchase that day. This is a store that has quality outdoor furniture at reasonable prices. If you are looking for furniture that will last a couple of years, go to your local chain store. If you want items that will last (our current Winston sling furniture has lasted 19 years) go to Ultimate Patios. I will definitely be returning to make a purchase.
