Dr. Shanis is an excellent physician- one of the best in her field. She explains the issues, talks with you, and always follows-through. She is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and most importantly, really cares about you and your health.
I have been a patient of Dr. Shanis for over 3 years now. I came to Dr. Shanis as a 50 year woman with hormonal issues and an unspecified autoimmune disorder. I had many symptoms that baffled my rheumatologist and primary doctors. She took the time to listen, answers all of my questions, and ordered all of the tests necessary to figure out what medicines would help me feel better. With a non-specific autoimmune disorder and being a woman over 50, I am a complicated case. I'm so glad I found Dr. Shanis. I am now feeling 100% better.
