(May 30, 2023, 9:10 pm)This is the main parking area to access the trails at Sandburg Woods! I completed the red loop (the shortest trail) and it was lovely and peaceful. Perfect for an evening hike and during the day because just about all the trails (purple/yellow/red trails) are shaded. The trails are very woodsy as well which is beautiful in the summer time. The trail might not be best for running because it is pretty rocky and bumpy. The trail was well maintained with mild elevation gain. There are maps available. I would come to Sandburg Woods again!

(February 21, 2023, 7:45 am)Great little tract of woods with easy to moderate hiking trails. Usually not that busy and dog friendly. Trails are very well marked and fun to explore. Enjoy!
