Rehab at Shannondell

Both of my grandparents had the wonderful opportunity to receive rehabilitation services from the Rehab at Shannondell. The admission process from the hospital to Shannondell was flawless, the concierge at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. We had nothing but great things to say about the nursing staff and the way they cared for my loved ones. Nursing did a fabulous job with pain management, making sure to always ask what their pain level was at and adjusting their medications when necessary. My grandparents received both Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy once per day and their Therapy plan was well communicated in a manner they were able to understand. I was amazed to see each floor had a Therapy Gym, each equipped with machines and devices to get my grandparents strength back to return back to their home. I was very pleased to find out Rehab at Shannondell had an in-house Doctor with a full team of Nurse Practitioners under her. The Doctor and Nurse Practitioners were all extremely knowledgeable and made themselves available if I or my family had any questions. The Social Worker was very helpful in making the rehab process as seamless as possible keeping constant communication from admission to discharge, they also helped with ordering equipment and arranged for Home Health Care to visit post discharge for additional nursing and therapy services.

My grandparents informed me the food from the kitchen was 5-stars, it looked just as good as it tasted. The portion sizes were ample and had the freedom to choose a different entrée for each meal. The inside of the facility is very well taken care of, the floors were spotless, and a housekeeper cleaned the room each day.

My mom is rehabbing here. She is doing well and is quite happy and content. The staff treats her with respect and kindness. They are very professional. I can sleep at night knowing she is in good hands!
