New Hope Star Diner

This tidy little diner is favored by locals in New Hope, Pennsylvania. They had a small but adequate salad bar with 4 homemade soups, and a varied menu of American fare. I ordered the open faced roast beef sandwich special, which was a generous portion even if the gravy was pedestrian and slightly bland. 🤔 My companion ordered the 3 cheese lasagna, which he liked except for a salty aftertaste. We both agreed that the seafood bisque tasted of flour, so not top marks on the food. It was a cheerful, clean place, though, with an attentive staff. I dislike televisions in dining establishments, so it loses a few points there as well. All in all, a solid little spot to grab a bite to eat, even if I found their prices a little steep.

We had a large group wedding group that needed breakfast since we missed it at our hotel. This diner accommodated us with just 10 minutes notice. It’s a large diner and everyone was happy with our breakfast. The waitress was amazing even though you could tell she was quite busy.

French dip was dry and tasteless. Cheeseburger was delicious! Fries were hot and tasted good. Server didn't really check on us at all.

Solid diner - wonderful staff - good food....

Our waitress was wonderful. Professional and friendly. In addition; she was very talented! All of her beautiful and interesting artwork was on full display. Really cool stuff!

Very solid diner experience. They were busy and clearly understaffed but can't blame them for that now so we were patient. Server was very friendly. Food was exactly what you'd expect at a diner. Very good, not great. Muffin was locally baked & very good. I'd definitely come back. Good meal!
