MOM's Organic Market

Love that Mom's is in the suburbs. The best part? Their banned ingredient list. It makes shopping SOOO much easier knowing I don't have to look at every label. Their ban includes no hydrogenated oils, no palm oil and no HFCS. This makes shopping so much faster and stress free. Thanks for including so many vegan and veggie options. Also they provide community support, support for social justice initiatives and a recycling center. This is the type of business that deserves our support for all that they do.

It was great to be able to choose from so many organic and non GMO items. Unfortunately, its a ways away from home, and the prices are even higher than regular foods. It makes no sense that we have to pay more for NATURAL foods that should be available EVERYWHERE. I Spent over 185.00 on mostly healthy snacks, vegan mayo, Not Milk, Frozen salmon nuggets (regular & spicy), bread, and 2 packs of party wings. Great service, clean store, and variety, just so expensive.

Welcoming positive vibes and good customer service. Hard to find friendliness and pleasantries in Philadelphia and PA in general but this place is a refreshing switch up from the tense vibes of PA. I don't go to Whole Foods or even Trader Joe's because of the the snooty, pretentious, classist, and discriminating air both places have so I typically shop at places in my neighborhood only. However, MOM's is an even better alternative to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's with more unique options especially for my fellow plant based folks. Oh yeah the prices are reasonable as well.

I like this location for personal shopping. The vegetables like chard and other greens are cleaned and packed for a smaller meal. Store size is not to big and there is just enough to grab and go.
Compared to South Jersey locations, which are better for shopping for a family and are slightly larger in scope and stock.
The staff is always helpful and friendly. They accept books in a book library, natural wine corks, old jeans and some electronics for recycling. I like the store's mission.

I am typically an Aldi shopper. Mom's Organic Market is exactly what you would want to find in a market completely dedicated to providing healthy food, personal products, and cooking supplies. As indicated in the photos, it is clearly not as designed as a Whole Food Market. It is more like a warehouse in it's design. I think they took some of their design cues from Ikea as you are sent on a path when entering the store that ends up at the checkout counter. As you would expect in any market selling higher-end organically derived product, Mom's is somewhat expensive when compared with traditional stores in the area. The staff is lovely and you can tell they are very proud to be working here. Additionally, the store is immaculate. I don't imagine this will be a regular shopping spot for me but rather a once in a while adventurer. I gave it four stars rather than 5 because of the higher prices. I hope they do well in this neighborhood during the pandemic.
