Mary Shull Counseling

As a young adult going through grief, I was less than thrilled to be going to counseling. The idea of talking about things, opening up, especially to someone I did not know, was difficult for me. But Mary Shull was wonderful. I felt comfortable to share my heart with her, she listened intently, and I could tell that she truly cared. I would definitely suggest her to anyone, and especially encourage any young adults that might be looking for someone to give Mary a try. I have been so thankful for the way our sessions have given me the freedom to process, reflect, and feel. And it is this opportunity that has given me the gift of healing. So thank you, Mary.

I found Mary a few years ago when I was struggling with the impact of childhood abuse in the relationship I was in at the time. Mary helped me understand why I was repeating similar cycles in relationships and how to overcome, practically and with the help of the Holy Spirit. Later my mother passed away from cancer and Mary's expertise in grief counseling was a tremendous support.

Mary ends each counseling session with personalized heart-felt prayer, evidence that her work is anchored in her knowledge that God is the integral source of true and lasting healing.
