What impresses me most about Barrack is the supportive, nurturing environment among both peers and educators that emphasizes a holistic approach to each student's growth and development. JBHA is undeniably academically rigorous and intellectually stimulating—offering intimate class sizes, a plethora of dynamic extracurricular opportunities, a seamless stitching of Jewish life and learning into the curriculum, and innovative courses like CORE that blends literature and history—but it's the deep warmth and care you feel in every aspect of campus life that makes me most grateful to send my child to this school, which places a true focus on helping each student become a fully-realized self and an engaged, thoughtful citizen of the world.
My son is getting an excellent education at Barrack. The educational philosophy at Barrack is one that takes each student individual needs into account. Whether your observance in Judaism leans more toward the orthodox or something in the other direction Barrack welcomes everyone easily and without judgement. From Sports, the Arts, STEAM and everything in between there is something for which every student can engage. I highly recommend this school:)

This school is everything. Academic but with a great vibe. It’s a supportive environment where peers, parents and teachers work together for your child to be successful. It’s a formula that works. Lastly, it’s secular. So it works for anyone of Jewish faith. I didn’t even have a Bat Mitzvah and ate bread on Passover. If you are considering private school, I say it’s worth every penny.
My student graduated in May 2019 having had her mind, heart and spirit positively nurtured and shaped by Barrack Hebrew Academy. Do you want the cultivation of Jewish identity, a top notch preparation for life, plus arts and sports and foreign languages -- all in an environment that fosters character strength and moral development? Pick Barrack.
My children are receiving an incredible education with academic rigor mixed with values and integrity. The teachers and administration are knowledgeable and accessible and the college guidance counselors are so helpful in navigating the college selection and application process. Thank you Barrack!!
