Having taken lessons with Peter for four years, I can confidently say there is no one I would rather learn drums and music from. Peter is always enthusiastic about the lessons and teaching his students; he wants them to enjoy playing and will work with the student to make sure that happens. If you have ideas for what you want to do, he is happy to pull up a video or sheet of music and work on it together. If not, Peter is always prepared to teach you a new skill and connects one lesson to the next.
The studio itself is impressive, with enough cameras to study both your own technique and his in plenty of angles. He will record lessons and send them to you after so that you can review them at any time, and is always quick to respond to any emails between lessons if you have a question.
Peter is a joy to learn from and I would encourage anyone considering lessons to go to him before anyone else.

My son began drumming lessons with Peter at age 9 and has been growing steadily as a drummer for the past two years. Peter is incredibly talented and professional with a top-notch home studio. We love so many things about Peter's instruction but especially that he creates a video of every lesson for reference, that he is vigilant about hearing protection, and that he encourages our son to balance discipline and experimentation as an artist. Peter is an AMAZING teacher! He works hard to understand his student's goals and objectives. His totally customizable lessons cover practically any musical style and all difficulty levels. I have been studying drumming and music with Peter for the past 6 months and it has been an absolutely fantastic experience. After a 30-year break from being a musician, I found myself walking through the door of Gregory Tech Drum Center and I could not be more pleased with the overall experience. The studio is a state of the art comfortable facility with top quality instruments and equipment. Peter’s teaching style is very positive and it is clear to see that he is a master drummer with deep knowledge and a strong passion for all styles of music.

I very much appreciate Peter’s teaching skill and style. He has created a unique curriculum for me based on my interests in learning solid technique, reading and writing musical notation and and exploring a variety of musical genres. Every step of the journey has been challenging and rewarding. In addition to being an impressive musician Peter is a passionate musicologist and we often spend time listening to and discussing a wide variety of music, this makes the overall experience really rewarding and worthwhile.

I started my studies with nothing more than a pair of old drumsticks and a borrowed practice pad. In the months that followed Peter was an active participant in assisting me piece together a drum set of my own scouring craigslist, classified adds and drum shops for the best instruments for my budget. Peter even accompanied me on a road trip to Philadelphia for “cymbal shopping”. Thanks to his advice and guidance, I now am the proud owner of the nicest professional drum kit you could ever assemble on a small budget!

Peter Gregory is a most excellent teacher and an even better drummer. To begin with he is very flexible with his scheduling and easy to work with. His studio is professional, elaborate and really contributes to the learning. Peter is full of musical knowledge and is great at structuring his lessons to improve each individual student's needs. He is great at identify areas where his students might need more development, and can show multiple ways of doing so. Learning from Peter was easy and fun, and I can say I'm a much better drummer from having taken lessons from him. Besides his exceptional teaching abilities, Peter is a rocking drummer! He is fluent in many styles and as a drummer in training, it was inspiring to watch him play. I highly recommend Peter to anyone seeking to better themselves as a musician.
