Both of my children attended For Kids Sake from the age of 4 months to Kindergarten graduation! For Kids Sake was like another home for my children and family. Everything they do is about the kids! From the fun lessons that are included in their daily schedules, the routines, the various "bonus" classes (music, gym, etc), field trips, and the amazing staff are all part of what makes this place amazing. Both of my children still ask to go back to see all of their former teachers! My children were taught so much through their 5-6 years! Some examples are the typical ABC's and 123's, words in different languages (sign language, spanish, chinese), weather, calendar material, science, art, math, reading, hands on life cycles of animals with real animals/insects (butterflies, chicks, etc), socialization skills, organization skills, and independent skills. When my children left, they transitioned beautifully into a new school from the skills they were taught at For Kids Sake. They also assisted in potty training my children as well as help with sleep training them! They truly have an amazing staff that care for the children! Give this place a try and let your children have a second home.

Safety and peace of mind were my major concerns choosing a childcare facility. At FKS, my children feel welcomed and included. They can always get a hug or lap to sit on if they need comfort. The teachers are incredibly patient and encouraging. Their lesson plans and activities are well prepared. Both of my kids have been at FKS since the infant room and they continue to thrive academically and social-emotionally. My son is reading before his kindergarten year and my daughter can spell her name, knows her colors, shapes, uses scissors and is starting to write her name in preschool. As a parent, I go to work knowing the teachers are keeping them safe and being productive in learning and play. It’s a daycare center with a warm and loving community vibe.

We have been part of the For Kids' Sake family for the past four years. Our older daughter started in the infant room at 6 months and is now in Pre-K, and our younger daughter just started in the infant room in February. When we first toured, Ms. Sandi assured us that the teachers would love our children like their own, and I didn't believe it at first. However, shortly thereafter, I found this to be true; each and every staff member loves our daughters like their own. I am continuously floored by all that my girls learn each day at FKS, and at the friendships they have made. From my family to yours, we highly recommend sending your children to FKS!

Sending our children to For Kids Sake was one of the best decisions my husband and I have made as parents. Our son began at For Kids Sake in August of 2014, and while any new parent knows that leaving your child in the hands of a caretaker is not easy, my husband and I were quickly put at ease. Our daughter began at FKS this past August, and her experience at FKS has been just as positive.
Above all else, the teachers at For Kids Sake are some of the most caring and loving individuals I have met in my life. They greet my children with a smile and open arms every day, and made sure to dote on them and give them plenty of individualized attention. Additionally, our daughter has some health issues, and the teachers of FKS have gone out of their way to show their love and support for our family-something that we remember each and every day. I’d like to say they love my kids more than the other kids, but I know that’s not true! I was, and continue to be, impressed with how much love and affection the teachers and directors show to each and every child.
In addition to the loving environment that the FKS teachers create, they also foster an atmosphere where students are encouraged to learn through play and inquiry-based activities. My son got to participate in countless activities that go above and beyond a traditional daycare-he learned how to garden, got to participate in cheese tasting sessions, and even got to vote for the president in a mock election. FKS also offers weekly gym classes, music classes, and visits from the traveling book mobile! During the summer time, weekly water play days are a welcome addition to the routine. No matter the day, I know that my children will be learning and growing in play-based activities, and acquiring school-readiness skills necessary for elementary school. Best of all, they’re having fun while doing so!
Another benefit of For Kids Sake is the amount of flexibility they offer. Ms. Sandi (director) and Ms. Julie (assistant director) have been more than willing to accommodate any scheduling need my family has had, even at the last minute. Having 2 children in daycare sometimes requires some juggling, in the event that one has to go home sick or leave for an appointment, and Sandi and Julie have always done everything possible to meet our scheduling needs. Along with being flexible, Sandi and Julie are also extremely responsive. If issues have arisen, they have handled them in an appropriate and timely manner.
While For Kids Sake may not look as updated as some other local daycare centers, it is definitely well maintained. During our almost 4 years at FKS, the building has undergone numerous improvements, including new paint in the classrooms, a new mural in the hallway, the installation of cameras in the classroom and parking lot, some external improvements, and the implementation of Tadpoles, an app that provides updates and information on my children in real time.
My husband and I enrolled our children at For Kids Sake on the recommendation of several of my colleagues. While I knew that, on their word, FKS would without question be a safe and suitable daycare for my children, I never would have imagined that we would be entering into a family. Through the friendships my son has built with other kids at FKS, my family has gained our own friendships as well with the other families. It is rare that we don’t see one of our FKS friends over the weekend, as we often gather to bowl, bounce at the trampoline park, play at the playground, or go to the lunch together. I know that my son would have made friends at any daycare, but I truly believe that the loving, nurturing environment provided at FKS has helped to forge these bonds between our family and others. FKS has given so much to our family, and it is definitely more than just a child care center-it’s a family.

Our family has been attending For Kids Sake for almost 10 straight years as our three children have grown from birth to school age. Every single time I hear anyone looking for a local child care facility, I emphatically recommend For Kids Sake! This place is like no other. Each and every day that I have dropped my children off for school, I know, above all else, they will be loved. The teachers are incredibly kind and intelligent, educating and nurturing all that are in their care. Many teachers that cared for my oldest almost 10 years ago are still teachers at FKS now. The few new faces over the last 10 years have only added value to the students’ experiences. The owner of the facility makes herself available to all families to answer any questions and bends over backwards to support her FKS families when they are in times of need. My two oldest children are now school age and at the tops of their classes. I attribute their success to the education and care they received at For Kids Sake. If you are looking for a child care facility, go visit them! One tour will convince you. You will be amazed at the care, diversity, education, and LOVE you see in every room.
