Elk Forge Bed & Breakfast Inn

This is an amazing place!!! I've stayed at other bed and breakfasts and this was by far the nicest one ever! And not even expensive! Our room was clean and comfy. The bed was amazing and the sheets were soft. The breakfast was wonderful and the trail walk was relaxing. The owner was kind and helpful.very quiet too! It really is a magical place. We will be back.

This place is so cute. Yeah it old, but that’s what add the beauty to this place. I found this place looking for a night getaway for me and my husband from our 5 kids. This place hit all my wishes. It had the tub to soak in and it was a comfortable bed to sleep. Just saying tho the bed is a little squeaky(during romance times). The grounds to the property are beautiful and they have trails to walk. The breakfast was good. Fresh cut fruit meat and eggs was nice and the coffee was good. I’m definitely going to be returning. For these prices this is a great deal with the tub in the room right across from the bed. It’s super nice place to go to turn on a little romance if you need a getaway from the stresses of everyday life.

Lovely stay , wonderful scenery , a very tasty breakfast. Tub was lovely for a soak. Each room in communal areas had seating. Some history of the place on the walls with articles. Stairs are the way up to the rooms so you can feel some of the history there beyond the room themes.

Elk Forge was wonderful. I was tentative about a bed and breakfast because i wanted quiet, private and calm environment. And that is precisely what we had. The owners and staff were only a phone call away if need be. Clean, quaint and on beautiful grounds. The room had the comforts of home and the outdoors were beautiful and serene. Owners seem to truly care about their patrons. Very accommodating, kind and generous. Beautiful fresh flowers adorned the general area, which they graciously shared with us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and truly enjoyed being able to bring it back to our rooms to enjoy breakfast in bed :) the full sized tub was amazing to relax in while watching a good movie. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway.
