Angie Zamot is literally the best! Let’s be honest, sitting in a chair for hours is tiring but time surely flies when you’re not only making your hair beautiful but having great conversation. I legitimately have found my stylist for life! She is professional, upbeat and even explains processes and advice that most other stylists wouldn’t share. All the ladies in there are extremely welcoming, friendly and positive, but Angie has magic hands. Thank you so much Angie for my beautiful hair that not only looks incredible but also feels so healthy.
Love this salon and the family atmosphere they offer. Ps the barber shop part is a legit man cave! Go check this place out! You won’t regret it.

My previous stylist, who I had been going to for years decided to be a stay at home mom. So this being my first visit to the salon had me very anxious.
Angie immediately made me feel welcome and at ease. She was very detailed with her work and made sure she knew what I wanted. I love the way my color looks and she gave me a great haircut. I will definitely recommend Angie to anyone that asks

I’m an admitted review junkie who never leaves a review herself.

Well, I’m a changed woman! (But please don’t ask me to retire my favorite 20-years-loved t-shirt.)

I don’t put much effort into my appearance, but I’ve got 2 kids, and they need me to do the work for them until they’re independent enough to decide if they care on their own.

I convinced them that mommy’s YouTube University haircuts were subpar, and that it would be much better to let the pros handle it. I searched a local FB group for recommendations, and I landed at Bliss.

I scheduled appointments for both kids for yesterday. I decided to help out everyone in the building by scheduling my own appointment for today while Daddy takes the kids to a friend’s birthday party. I like the deal I got.

So, yesterday I set my 6 year old daughter up with Beth, and my 7 year old son and I set off to find Gabe at the barber shop. Since it's in a room to the side, I was delighted to walk into a cozy seating area right near the chairs. I had my Rollator in the car in case there wasn’t anywhere to sit near the kids, as I can’t stand for extended periods of time. Since my son was the one who needed more company, it worked out great for me!

Gabe was to be put to the test. A long line of stylists and barbers have cut my son’s hair shorter than he wanted. My kid seriously mistrusts clippers. The pandemic mommy cuts were great for him. No fear, no stress. Just a seriously uneven and uninspired look. My son, after giving almost no feedback to Gabe, told me in the car. “This time I didn’t lie. I really *do* like it because he didn’t cut it too short. I liked when he asked me if the length was right before he cut it.” High praise!

Then, MVP and “Ray of Sunshine,” Beth gave my daughter “The Best Day Ever.” This was the first time she got her hair washed before her cut. “She washed my hair and didn’t get any in my eyes!” I mean, really, Beth. Couldn’t you have kept the bar manageable for a mama?? Beth this… Beth that… My daughter asked me to take a picture of Beth’s business card “so your good forgetter doesn’t forget her name for next time.” Then she was off to stash it in her Secret Place. My girl looks great, and Beth had not even an iota of judgement as she let me know that she should be able to get my daughter’s hair evened out by her next cut. 😉

Oh! I almost forgot the best part! Beth gave me the loveliest compliment. She said that I seemed like a really fun mom. I almost fell over. Taking the kids out for this was a really big deal because of my health, and it felt so good to be seen as the mom I aspire to be. 💜💜💜

Today I met Allison for my own cut. She showed me her gorgeous tattoos, satisfyingly on-theme with her cozy sweater (I also choose to be cozy year-round). Not only did she relieve me of breakage, but she also taught me some incredibly low-effort ways to care for my hair. I am determined to return to show her my progress toward healthy hair!

I'm 100% sending my husband in next. Then we'll all be looking good!
