Lick it, stick it and ship it. Call Matt's heavy duty mobile diagnostics for anything heavy truck related. They'll fix it on the spot right and it'll be cheaper than an lms hub with an "oil cup lol" that's not torqued than backed off coming apart . I can guarantee that you'll never find and old clip for a pro-torque nut on the floor either Thanks for letting me go.
I’m from NC, I was up here on a delivery. I had the dreaded stop engine warning and the coupled DPF code. Regen was disabled so I needed a shop. This shop was 20 miles away they had decent reviews and I feel like I know enough not to get ripped off. They took me right in. Showed me, and explained everything thoroughly. Tried very hard not to go the more expensive route without justification. When it did come to that they broke everything down so it made sense. They also gave me options on parts and were very transparent on cost and labor charges up front. All in all very professional not any high pressure upselling or drama. Just this is what’s wrong and this is how we’re going to fix it. I know they didn’t give me part at cost, they are in business to make money. I feel like they were fair and took steps to explain the cost that were sufficient. I would come back again, and I would recommend others to use them. Excellent experience.
Update: previous owners of the truck put a password on the ECM so they couldn't fully complete the job and clear the derate. However they told me I had an appointment at the local dealer to get that taken care of, and they discounted their estimate to cover parts and labor to the point that they completed. When I got to the dealer, they didn't know anything about it, and couldn't help me. Basically said it would be 6 weeks to look at it. Rather than call Blaze back I just drove back to NC and took it to my dealership. They cleared it right away. Also had to replace a sensor that had been damaged on installation, and the inlet gasket joint had come unsecured and the exhaust had burnt a hole in my side skirt. Still thankful for the work and flexibility of the Blaze guys. Just double check what they tell you if they refer you to somewhere else.
Great work. Came right to the warehouse, friendly and knowledgeable mechanic. Had I called loves or TA , I would've been there for evvvuh . Thanks guys .
