I had the most fun and therapeutic time with adults at that! I was able to use my artistic side of my brain as well as my intellectual sides and still enjoy myself. I met some great people and I look forward to the next class and the one after that. Laura makes me look like I’ve been doing Fluid painting for years and she also makes me feel so comfortable that I loved hanging out and laughing with her. Can’t wait to hang with her again. Amanda Layre is a children’s book writer 📚 and illustrator and a fine art 🖼 instructor. She has been teaching art to children and adults in Doylestown for over 20 years. She loves sharing her love for art with others. Amanda creates a safe positive place for her students to express themselves.

Amanda Layre’s curriculum is designed to build self-esteem through the creative process using fine art as the medium. The studio offers individual instruction within an art class setting for children and adults. What a great time we had for a relaxing night of sipping wine and pouring paint at the studio for a Flow Art Workshop! Good fun for the whole family. So happy workshops started again, and Amanda will resume her drawing and pastel classes soon as well!

Amanda gave me such a strong foundation in my art skills. Her Friday classes were my favorite afternoon of the week for years. I made great friends while finding my creative voice and artistic style. I still drop by the studio to work on art pieces and to get guidance and inspiration as I prepare a portfolio for college. The artist, owner and Instructor of this outstanding art studio facilitates development in drawing skills for those who believe they are unable to draw as well as those who clearly have a gift for drawing. My daughter had always loved art. She enjoyed Amanda's class from grade school to high school. My son did not believe he had the same talent.Yet Amanda uncovered his wonderful potential. He now enjoys drawing as a way to relax and create personal gifts for people. Now I have been taking adult classes for three years. My husband and I are both surprised by how much my skills have grown.We have two pieces framed in our home.
